"Spotted this 12 meter humpback whale whilst shooting with Mystic at Texel. When I got closer I saw that the whale was stuck on the sand so we immediately alarmed the KNRM who tried to push the animal to open sea but with short success. The whale is now stuck and will have to spend the night on the sand, let's hope the water comes up quickly so the whale can be free again. We'll have a look in the morning."—Ruben Lenten
