The Envy led the three-strut revolution, and it was the first to offer and deliver the “beyond delta” performance that bridged the performance-to-rider-skill-level gap of the do-it-all kite designs. In its third generation, 2012’s Envy allowed testers to focus on park-and-ride and load-and-pop tricks; crisp handling and direct steering, the Envy could be counted on to remain balanced and controlled when unhooked and throwing down. Water relaunch was easy even in the 15-metre size. Progressing riders can concentrate on board edging skills, while advanced riders will appreciate the smooth pull and balance. This is a set-it-and-forget-it kite with smooth and adaptable handling, and as always, Liquid Force gets top marks for style and performance. The workhorse of the LF lineup, its simple and dependable performance appeals to not only progressing riders, but to core wakestylists and advanced, sideshore surf specialists alike.

Sits deeper in the window with less sheetable de-power
It could have been the settings, but the 9 and 12-metre seemed to have a ton of power with less ability to shed it quickly than some other models.
