SBC Kiteboard 2012 Gear Tests: Week One Update

Cape Hatteras has been firing on all cylinders this week, and the SBC team has logged multiple sessions testing the latest and best new kites for 2012. The beginning of the week provided multiple sessions for the 12 meter and the light wind kites. The new bridge to Hatteras Island came in handy yesterday with the test team making a road trip to Jockey’s Ridge to score ideal 25-30 knot conditions to test the 9’s and 10’s.             The 2012 SBC Kiteboard gear tests are the largest head-to-head kite tests in the world. 46 models of kite are at the ready for the test team: brands include Airush, Best, Cabrinha, Crazy Fly, Epic, F-One, Flysurfer, Globe, HQ, Griffin, Liquid Force, Naish, Nobile, North, Ocean Rodeo, Ozone, RRD, Slingshot and Star.
