Airush Big Box - Kiteboarding Slider

What do you get when you add, an old pontoon boat, with weeks of design and engineering, over a ton of steel tubing, a thousand pounds of plastic, over a mile of steel welding wire, 5000 screws, 150 hamburgers, $150 worth of $5 foot longs, more than 2500 beers, countless safety meetings, and a dedicated build crew DONATING over 2000 man hours of labor? The Airush Big Box.
Funded and supported by kite manufacturers, organizations, local shops, the northwest kite community, and organized by The Slider Project, it is further proof that park style kiting is here to stay. 60 ft in length, with a 16 in wide rail, a 5 ft wide butter box, and a 24’ x 5’ wall ride, it offers sliding fun to a variety of skill levels. Pro and amateur riders from across the globe arrived in Hood River to lend a hand, and to help break it in
