Test Team Report
The GTS2 blends the traditional C kite performance craved by the advanced rider, with the better depower and easy water relaunch granted by Delta the or Open C shape. It has smooth and direct feedback and handling, with quick and instant turn initiation granted by the wide wing tips and compact bridle system. Test Team riders were impressed with the smooth pull and solid slack line pop granted when unhooking with this kite. It is smooth and slippery through the air, with lighter touch steering and flying character that meets the demand of both freestyle and waves. Its pivotal turns are fast and flutter-free, with smooth power generation through the whole loop. Quick reaction to bar input makes for fast and easy jumping, and the kite feels well-balanced and quick across the window. With a little trim adjustment, the GTS quickly and smoothly sets up the kite nicely for some parked pop for freestyle. The GTS2 is also fast and agile for precision boosting, and its light weight and good balance will equip this kite well for advanced-level wave bashing.
More low-end power and higher levels of sheetable or more instant depower might be preferred by some for waves or less advanced riders.
Advanced to intermediate riders who want a fast-turning, forward-driving kite that excels at freestyle and can work in the waves.
